We're looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our Creative team and lead the development of compelling 360° campaigns, product storytelling, and brand narratives that resonate across every touchpoint. You'll transform strategic objectives into creative concepts and messaging that inspire audiences while strengthening Marshall's distinctive voice. You'll collaborate closely with the Creative team; Project Manager, Production Manager, Art Director and Designers as well as internal stakeholders, to translate strategic goals into clear, engaging, and actionable creative concepts and copy direction. This includes leading early-stage ideation across channels to develop cohesive, on-brand messaging that aligns with campaign objectives and channel best practices. You'll play a key role in balancing creativity with commercial objectives, ensuring every piece of communication is engaging, strategically sound, and unmistakably Marshall. As a senior member of the Creative team, you'll also help shape how we work—mentoring junior creatives, contributing to a collaborative culture, and continuously raising the creative bar.
Job Responsibility
Develop compelling copy concepts and messaging frameworks across product launches, campaigns and channels, ensuring consistency from initial brief to final delivery
Translate strategic objectives into engaging, audience-focused storytelling that aligns with brand voice and campaign goals
Ensure messaging is always aligned with the consumer journey, so that we're communicating the right message, at the right time, and in the right way
Ensure high creative and editorial standards across all deliverables while contributing to the ongoing evolution of the brand voice and tone
Manage end-to-end copy development for creative projects across multiple channels, ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality throughout the process
Review, refine, and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, tone consistency and on-brand execution while meeting deadlines and production requirements
Present creative rationale and messaging approaches clearly to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining strong creative integrity
Proactively contribute to creative process improvements and ways of working that strengthen collaboration and elevate creative output
Maintain and organise approved copy assets, messaging frameworks, and campaign documentation for seamless use across teams and external partners
Requirements
8+ years of copywriting experience within creative, advertising, or marketing environments
Strong understanding of branding, storytelling, and content creation across digital, print, and integrated campaigns
Strategic thinker with the ability to align messaging and creative concepts with business and campaign objectives
Proven experience delivering large-scale, multi-channel campaigns from concept through execution
Equally passionate about writing a tagline for a campaign as writing a description for a new tech feature
Able to produce high-quality, SEO-optimised copy assets in collaboration with our in-house experts
Skilled in managing multiple briefs, timelines, and priorities in fast-paced creative environments
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with creative, design, production, and internal teams
Native-level proficiency in English is highly desirable
