Job Description

The Senior Controlling Specialist at NTT DATA will be responsible for leading financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting efforts. This role requires a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel, SAP, and PowerBI is essential, as well as fluency in Czech and English. The position offers a hybrid working environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and variance (GAP) analyses
  • Prepare and review financial, regulatory, and audited reports, including cash flow statements and disclosures
  • Analyze results versus expectations, identify improvement areas, and provide actionable recommendations to management
  • Support annual audits (group and local) and maintain strong internal controls by developing and documenting business processes and policies
  • Drive initiatives to enhance, streamline, and automate reporting processes and tools to meet evolving business needs
  • Work closely with other departments to understand key performance drivers and lead monthly business unit review meetings
  • Manage and develop one junior controller, ensuring effective daily operations and professional growth
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial data, ensuring timely, error-free documentation and safeguarding the integrity of reporting processes
  • Provide insights and technical accounting analysis to assist executive decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (CPA or similar certification preferred)
  • Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis (3+ years)
  • Proficiency in Excel, SAP, PowerBI (DAX as well) and any other reporting tools (e.g.: SQL)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting processes and procedures - demonstrable experience participating in the creation of financial reports
  • Seasoned experience with methods of systems analysis, the principles, design and procedural methods used in forecasting and data analysis
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results
  • Fluency in Czech and English
