Job Description

Senior Controlling Lead Hotels (m/f/d) at TUI. You'll lead and develop the controlling team, act as primary contact for finance teams and General Managers of hotels worldwide, take responsibility for budget planning and closings, analyse financial performance, ensure management reporting, and conduct feasibility calculations. Based in Hanover, Germany, hybrid work. Permanent, full-time position.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and develop the controlling team, both professionally and disciplinarily, fostering individual growth and expertise of team members
  • Act as primary contact for finance teams and General Managers of hotels worldwide, supporting them in financial management
  • Take responsibility for budget planning, forecasts, and monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for entities and hotels in remit
  • Analyse financial performance, identify opportunities and risks, and work with operational teams to define targeted measures
  • Ensure meaningful management reporting and continuously develop existing reports, dashboards, and steering tools
  • Conduct feasibility calculations, business cases, and ad hoc analyses, prepare well-founded decision papers for management and board

Requirements

  • Relevant qualifications in Finance, Controlling, or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven professional experience in controlling, ideally in the hotel industry, tourism, or an international corporate environment
  • Experience in leading and developing team members is desirable
  • Excellent analytical skills and a solid understanding of business and financial interrelationships
  • Organized, solution-oriented way of working with high standard of quality and attention to detail
  • Confident use of MS Office and HFM is essential

Nice to have

Experience with Tableau, Tagetik, or comparable reporting and planning systems is an advantage
