Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Control Management Specialist to participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures within the Control Management functional area, providing risk management consulting, and supporting the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating risk exposures
Provide risk management consulting to support business in designing risk mitigation strategies
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on impact of decisions and controls
Provide guidance on development and implementation of business specific programs
Collaborate with business groups to identify current and emerging risks
Lead and deliver on RCSA program requirements
Assess design and operating effectiveness of controls for medium to high complex processes

Requirements:

4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience
Equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
Knowledge of operational risk framework and disciplines in banking industry
Ability to read and understand policies, procedures, and training documents
Experience in evaluating adequacy, effectiveness, and updating of program methodologies
Strong knowledge of risk management framework including risk identification and governance
Strong collaboration and consulting experience across stakeholders

Nice to have:

Effectively raises/reports issues to management
Experience in root cause analysis and developing remediation plans
Strong written and verbal communication skills with executives
Ability to operate independently and multi-task on operational and strategic activities
