Job Description:

Senior Control Management Specialist to support Financial Crimes Operations utility group, partnering with executive management to define and deliver initiatives and programs across front lines and build relationships with senior leaders to develop and maintain a strong control environment for early identification and sustainable mitigation of risk.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in identifying, assessing, managing, and mitigating current and emerging risk exposures
Provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls
Provide guidance to business groups on development, implementation, and monitoring of business specific programs
Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks

Requirements:

4+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience
Experience with and knowledge of BSA/AML requirements for financial institutions
Financial Crimes certification (ACAMS)
Knowledge of issues management lifecycle
Risk and Control Self- Assessment (RCSA) and Issue Management experience
Experience in supporting one or more areas of risk including Operational Risk, Technology or Compliance roles
Experience in designing, monitoring and/or remediation of operations and technology controls
Experience in developing and/or monitoring key risk indicators
Understanding of enterprise risk management framework
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills
Understanding of risk framework, corporate/business policies, and programs

Nice to have:

Financial Crimes certification (ACAMS)
Experience with BSA/AML requirements
Risk and Control Self- Assessment (RCSA) experience
Issue Management experience
