Altamira has an open position for a highly qualified and talented Senior Contracts Manager, with proven record and performance in the U.S. Government contracting role at either our McLean, VA Warrenton, VA, Centennial, CO, or Augusta, GA locations.

Job Responsibility

  • Government and Commercial contracts management, throughout the contract lifecycle
  • Negotiation of various contractual agreements and instruments with customers, teaming partners and vendors, such as prime contracts, subcontract agreements, pricing, Teaming Agreements and Nondisclosure Agreements
  • Leading the proposal cost volume preparation, compliance, rate negotiations, profitability analyses, risk mitigation, subcontract management, purchasing, and contract closeouts
  • Supporting proposal preparations in response to government solicitations, such as IDIQs, Task Orders, BAAs, GSA Schedules, etc
  • Support audits of Company systems, processes, and schedules, as required
  • Work closely with Program Management and Operations, Business Development & Capture teams, Proposal teams, Finance and Accounting and other functions to achieve the desired results

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • Master's degree and/or professional certification is preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in government contracts management, subcontracts management and pricing
  • at least 5 years of supervisory experience
  • MUST have a Top Secret/SCI Clearance to be considered for this role
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Results driven, proven track record of successfully managing priorities and contractual matters, building and mentoring a team of high performers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools (SharePoint, Word, Excel, MS Project, Outlook)
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment across all the organizations in the Company

  • Knowledge and prior use of Costpoint, GovWin, is helpful in this position, but not required
