A National Commercial & Residential contractor, best known for their Apartment towers in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, constructing projects up to $110m. This builder has been operating for 10 years with a strong backing and a focus on repeat work with their key clients. Due to strategic growth, this builder is looking to grow into Melbourne. Opportunity: You will be a founding member of the Melbourne team, with a landmark Commercial project valued at $310m. You will be leading this project and will have an opportunity to be apart of the business's largest project in History! This project is set to start in August and will be a full ECI project.
Job Responsibility
Assisting with the administration of project contracts, including head contracts and subcontracts
Processing and tracking subcontractor progress claims, payments, and variations under the supervision of a Senior Contract Administrator
Coordinating the issuance and tracking of project documentation such as EOT's, RFI's, and site instructions
Maintaining and organising accurate project documentation and contract records, ensuring all files are current and complete
Supporting the negotiation and resolution process for minor contract issues or disputes as directed
Collaborating closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, and Senior Contract Administrator to ensure seamless contract flow and successful project delivery
Requirements
Demonstrative experience in a Senior Contract Administrator role within the commercial construction industry
Experience working with Tier 1 or 2 builders, working on builds larger than $200m
An understanding of standard Australian construction contracts and legal frameworks
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional approach to correspondence
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
A positive mindset, keen to learn, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks
