Job Description:

The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support Contract Management in contractual support of company programs and learn BAE Systems, Inc. programs and processes
  • These support duties included program contracts, Request for Proposals (RFPs), contract compliance and process, negotiations, NDA’s, Terms and Conditions, Program Flow downs
  • Assist with the evaluation of Requests for Proposals, learn to identify business risks, and propose and negotiate terms and conditions that mitigate business risks
  • Maintain auditable Contract files. Support audits with Internal / External and Government Audit Agencies
  • Learn to negotiate favorable payment terms to affect shareholder value
  • Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment
  • Perform other duties as necessary

Requirements:

  • BS/BA in a related field plus 4 or more years of related experience
  • A current, active TS/SCI security clearance is required with ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • A demonstrated background of business acumen, positive attitude, proactive mentality, problem solver, team member, willingness to learn
  • Experience with various contract types
  • Ability to prioritize and handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Solid communications skills
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR
