Empowerly is seeking a Senior Content Writer to lead their content strategy, focusing on creating SEO-optimized, engaging written materials that drive organic growth and conversion rates in the EdTech space. You will own Empowerly’s written content engine across blogs, landing pages, and high-intent conversion pages. You will be accountable for transforming organic traffic into clarity, trust, and measurable enrollment impact.
Job Responsibility:
Producing and optimizing blog posts
Rewriting existing content
Enhancing website copy for landing pages
Collaborating with SEO and design teams to improve content performance
Write high-quality, SEO-informed blog posts aligned to demand and business priorities
Rewrite and elevate existing content to improve clarity, structure, depth, and conversion intent
Maintain a consistent publishing cadence with operational discipline
Apply keyword strategy and search intent alignment to all content
Structure content using clear header hierarchy (H1–H3)
Recommend internal linking opportunities
Partner with the SEO Manager to refresh and optimize content based on performance data
Write and optimize copy for webinar landing pages and program pages
Improve headlines, CTAs, page structure, and narrative flow
Refresh outdated content to reflect evolving positioning
Write or refine paid social ads, webinar promotions, and supporting assets
Align messaging to audience intent and funnel stage
Collaborate with paid and design teams to iterate quickly
Work closely with the SEO Manager on briefs and refresh priorities
Collaborate with designers on layout and UX alignment
Partner with the webinar team on topic framing and landing page messaging
Support PR and partnership initiatives with high-quality tentpole content
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field
5+ years of experience as a content writer or copywriter
Demonstrated strength in long-form writing with a clear, confident voice
Proven experience writing for SEO performance and conversion impact
Comfort rewriting and significantly improving existing content
Ability to produce high-quality work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Native or near-native English proficiency
A portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate depth, clarity, structure, and persuasive ability
Nice to have:
Experience in education, EdTech, or service-based businesses
Familiarity with HubSpot, Airtable, or structured content workflows
Working knowledge of paid social, funnel metrics, or CRO principles
