As a Senior Content Creator, you will play a key role in shaping how Westwing speaks to millions of design lovers across Europe. You will create and refine high-quality editorial content while also guiding a team of copy editors and merchandisers in delivering engaging and commercially effective storytelling. Combining strong writing skills with a collaborative leadership mindset, you ensure that both copy and product presentation come together to create inspiring customer experiences. In your day-to-day work, you contribute to team development, drive consistency in tone of voice, and support the successful execution of key campaigns. This position is permanent and based in Munich.

Job Responsibility:

  • Guide and support copy editors and merchandisers in their daily work, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Connect storytelling with product assortments to create compelling and effective customer journeys
  • Take responsibility for the execution of key campaigns (e.g. seasonal launches, Black Friday)
  • Act as a go-to person for editorial topics within cross-functional collaborations (Sales, Brand Buying, Marketing)
  • Provide feedback and coaching to junior and mid-level team members
  • Ensure a consistent tone of voice across formats, channels, and markets
  • Identify opportunities to improve content quality, workflows, and performance

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in Copywriting, Content Creation, or Editorial roles, ideally in eCommerce or Lifestyle
  • Experience guiding or mentoring others (e.g. project ownership, informal leadership, or small team responsibility)
  • Strong writing skills with a clear sense of brand voice and storytelling
  • The ability to balance creative quality with business and performance goals
  • Confidence collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
  • A structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English, with a keen eye for stylistic nuance and impeccable grammatical accuracy
What we offer:
  • A high-performance culture built on trust, feedback and collaboration
  • An inspiring, international environment that empowers you to think big, take ownership, and grow beyond your comfort zone
  • A flexible hybrid setup with 3 office days per week
  • Work-from-anywhere opportunities for up to 4 weeks per year
  • 30 days of paid holiday
  • A beautiful, centrally located, dog-friendly office with inspiring spaces, a sunny terrace, and good food
  • Exclusive discounts - 40% off Westwing Collection, 20% off third-party brands (each on non-reduced items), 10% Family & Friends discount, plus special-occasion vouchers
  • Wellbeing support through mental health resources, sports memberships, and preventive care
  • Sustainable mobility options with discounted public transport and JobRad
  • Support for working parents, including our on-site Westwing Wichtel daycare and a partnership with multilingual provider Elly & Stoffl
  • One annual Social Impact Day
  • Team rituals that celebrate results and togetherness - from Summer & Winter Parties to Oktoberfest
