Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced writer/editor to join our small but growing digital marketing team supporting several informational web brands and two national personal injury law firms. You will be aligned with a specific business unit and responsible for creating smart, helpful, intentional content that helps our readers get answers and drive qualified leads to the firm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist with content production on designated web properties with an emphasis on increasing qualified traffic, conversion, and prospects
  • Write several pieces of content each week (specifically, web pages and blog posts)
  • Identify areas for additional content creation, such as multimedia assets, print materials, infographics, organic social opportunities, and more
  • Work with integrated project teams (SEO, analytics, design, dev) to plan, schedule, and produce high-performing content
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to communicate project plans, timelines, priorities, and results

Requirements:

  • B.A. in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or similar
  • 4+ years of professional writing/editing experience
  • Long-form content writing
  • Copywriting/short-form marketing writing
  • Copyediting and proofreading
  • Web writing
  • Research and fact-checking
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices
  • AP Style and experience using in-house style guides
  • Working knowledge of WordPress or other CMS
