We are looking for an experienced writer/editor to join our small but growing digital marketing team supporting several informational web brands and two national personal injury law firms. You will be aligned with a specific business unit and responsible for creating smart, helpful, intentional content that helps our readers get answers and drive qualified leads to the firm.
Job Responsibility:
Assist with content production on designated web properties with an emphasis on increasing qualified traffic, conversion, and prospects
Write several pieces of content each week (specifically, web pages and blog posts)
Identify areas for additional content creation, such as multimedia assets, print materials, infographics, organic social opportunities, and more
Work with integrated project teams (SEO, analytics, design, dev) to plan, schedule, and produce high-performing content
Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to communicate project plans, timelines, priorities, and results
Requirements:
B.A. in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, English, or similar
4+ years of professional writing/editing experience
Long-form content writing
Copywriting/short-form marketing writing
Copyediting and proofreading
Web writing
Research and fact-checking
Familiarity with SEO best practices
AP Style and experience using in-house style guides
Working knowledge of WordPress or other CMS
Project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Idea generation and problem solving
Understanding of UX writing
Nice to have:
Experience in the legal or medical/healthcare space
