Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

  • Client Management: Be a sector expert and ambassador for clients
  • Influence markets and play a critical role in winning business
  • Research and understand clients
  • Engage with clients via email, face to face, telephone, and virtual meetings
  • Identify needs and provide honest, consultative feedback
  • Qualify job specifications and record accurate job descriptions
  • Gather information on decision makers and line managers
  • Network externally with clients
  • Benchmark for clients on salary, availability, candidate pool, and industry activity
  • Write and place advertisements online and in social media
  • Negotiate, pitch, and present candidate long/shortlists
  • Manage offers and support onboarding processes
  • Candidate Management: Source candidates via headhunting, sifting responses, and database research
  • Prepare and support candidates during job processes
  • Advise on sector and salary information
  • Network with active and passive candidates
  • Maintain regular candidate contact
  • Negotiate with candidates at all stages
  • Pre-screen and interview candidates
  • Manage candidate availability
  • Provide detailed information to candidates
  • Be a trusted career advisor
  • Team work: Support colleagues with searches and workload
  • Work collaboratively with sector, function, and discipline colleagues
  • Manage staff professionally where appropriate
  • Represent Allen Lane at events
  • Support colleagues and Operations with ad-hoc tasks
  • Mentor consultants and aspire to be a Business Manager
  • Other: Conduct reference checking
  • Stay up to date with legislative requirements
  • Participate in mandatory training
  • Carry out work in line with Key Processes and QMS
  • Perform any other duties as required
