Job Description

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong expertise in V&V to deliver high-quality services on passenger rail projects throughout SEQ. You will provide authoritative guidance on best practices in V&V across all stages of the system lifecycle.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead development and delivery of V&V plans and strategies
  • Conduct requirements verification and develop test cases and procedures
  • Assist in tender production, work-winning / client engagement
  • Manage traceability between requirements, test cases, and results
  • Execute validation activities, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards
  • Prepare V&V reports and evidence packages
  • Mentor junior staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or similar
  • 6+ years Systems Engineering experience
  • Knowledge of relevant standards: EN 50126/8/9, IEC 61508, ISO 15288
  • Understanding of full Systems Engineering V-Lifecycle / INCOSE handbook standards
  • Familiar with DOORS / DOORS NG
  • An understanding of Safety Assurance, Human Factors and RAM is desirable
  • Australian working rights – Australian Citizen, PR or Visa holder
