Job Description:

Join HSBC in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist to design, develop, and maintain software solutions as part of a strategic initiative IT team. The role involves coordinating IT project teams, creating technical solutions, developing systems, and ensuring timely delivery.

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop and maintain
Develop competent level understanding of HTS platform, to able to understand the business needs and help developer to convert into HTS platform design and language
Ensure implementation on time and in budget with appropriate quality according to user requirements
Assist in coordinating the activities of IT project teams, user departments and other service departments
Provide estimates for development effort for individual or component from design documents
Review code and documentation to ensure code meets the design criteria
Apply specialist expertise in the development of IT systems with the objective of optimizing operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost effectiveness
Lead FSR development to provide tech solution design and review with developer to make the quality of the FSR delivery

Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in the software industry with a focus on Java development
Good understanding of DevOps and agile methodology
Strong knowledge and experience in Core Java (Java 8, Java 17), Collections, Multithreading, Spring, Spring Boot 3.0.x, Microservices
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, able to work independently, proactively and under pressure against multiple deadlines
Database technologies like ORACLE
Strong leadership and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
