Job Description:

Equity Post Trade IT provides the technology that allows Market Operations business area to perform affirmation, confirmation, clearing, accounting and settlement functions across a number of core locations. There are high volume trades, large applications in scope for this role, that is used to settle Equities Cash trades in Asia & France.

Job Responsibility:

Technical Design, development, implementation, automation and maintenance of equities settlement platform
Active participation and contribution in discussions for design and process improvements
Automation of testing, delivery, and monitoring processes
Ensuring system's compliance to the constantly changing cybersecurity standards by ensuring timely improvements and upgrades of the systems
Build, release, deployment, configuration management and Production Support of production systems
Business enhancements or requirements coordination around the back-office processing of Cash Equities
System troubleshooting and problem solving across the platform and application domains
Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions/policies, internal control standards and external regulatory requirements

Requirements:

Min 8 years of experience with 'hands-on' on Java 8 or above
Spring/Spring Boot/ or Vert.X Technologies
Micro-services, REST
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Reactive programming paradigm
Working knowledge of Front end technologies like ReactJs with Redux, AngularJS etc. would be plus
Strong background on application support
Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) using Oracle
Strong knowledge of UNIX/Shell scripting
Knowledge of JMS (IBM MQ/Active MQ)
Knowledge of database tech like MSSQL Server/Oracle database
Automation skills and experience with system monitoring tools e.g. Grafana or other equivalent tools
Good working experience with DevOps tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, Confluence etc
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Experience with Business and stakeholders' coordination
Very strong communication experience and skill
Preferably worked on an Equities settlement platform for Back Office functionality of Cash Equities Trading

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of Front end technologies like ReactJs with Redux, AngularJS etc.
