Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist within HSBC. Responsibilities include service management, incident management, problem management, change management, risk and control management, user support, reporting and governance, and documentation. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in IT-related fields, over 5 years of experience in IT service management, and strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Service Management: Oversee daily operations and support processes for FICC Risk applications and systems, ensuring optimal performance and stability, identify areas for improvement
  • Incident Management: Lead incident resolution efforts, coordinating with cross-functional team to address and resolve issue promptly
  • Problem Management: Manage and guide the post incident reviews, ensuring proper root cause analysis and fix, enabling the teams to grow from incidents
  • Change Management: Manage changes to the production environment, ensuring proper testing and documentation before implementation
  • Risk and Control Management: Stay close with latest control environment, ensuring risk analysis, mitigation and acceptance
  • User Support: Provide support to end-users and business stakeholders, addressing queries and issues related to FICC applications with teams
  • Reporting and Governance: Generate regular reports on service performance, incidents, release cadence and other OKRs, collaborate with teams for feedback and defining improvement actions
  • Documentation: Provide guidance and assist to maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, procedures, and incident reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT service management, preferably in a banking or financial services environment
  • Strong experience in supporting production environments, particularly in FICC applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and effectively under pressure
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ITIL frameworks, SDLC processes, incident management tools, and monitoring systems
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
