Job Description:

The role of Senior Consultant Specialist at HSBC requires developing and implementing IT solutions, conducting testing, and ensuring deliverables meet HSBC standards. Applicants must possess strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills while being self-motivated. The role is based in Guangzhou and follows a hybrid working style.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement IT solutions to meet business users' requirements
Conduct system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation
Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices

Requirements:

A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
Bachelor Degree or above, with CET-4 or equivalent English level
6-8 Years working experience on AS400(RPGLE and CL on iSeries) is required
At least 4 Years related project management experience is preferred
Familiar with API or Cloud will be strong advantage
Test-driven development and Agile experience will be strong advantage
Strong problem solving skills and communication skills
Fast to adapt to English working environment
Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
Experienced in team motivation and management

Nice to have:

Familiar with API or Cloud
Test-driven development and Agile experience
