Job Description

Join BCG Platinion as a Senior Consultant specializing in SAP BTP and Agentic AI. This role involves leveraging AI and SAP technology to transform business operations and decision-making. You'll develop agent-based applications, integrated architectures, and scalable systems that rethink business processes and create real business impact. Together with Boston Consulting Group, you support our clients from the initial strategic idea through to technical implementation—from the boardroom to the codebase—with a focus on AI-driven coding (“vibe coding”), enabling you to fully leverage your individual strengths, particularly in architecture.

Job Responsibility

  • Identify, prioritize, and define AI and agent-based use cases
  • Design end-to-end solutions on SAP BTP across application, integration, data, and AI layers
  • Develop MVPs and prototypes (e.g., using SAP AI Core, Joule, LangChain, or similar frameworks)
  • Develop AI-powered applications in Java, Python, Node.js, or ABAP
  • Design integrations between agent-based systems and enterprise landscapes (e.g., APIs, MCP)
  • Implement workflow orchestration solutions (e.g., n8n, Camunda) on SAP BTP
  • Take the lead in workshops, demos, and proof-of-concepts
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and transformation roadmaps

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in a consulting environment with SAP BTP, cloud, or software development
  • Solid programming skills (Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or ABAP)
  • Practical experience with SAP BTP Services (e.g., CAP, Integration Suite, AI Core)
  • Initial experience with AI/GenAI applications or a strong interest in them
  • Experience in process design and integration architectures
  • Familiarity with common hyperscaler technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience leading project teams of more than three people and can develop complex business cases
  • Thrive in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts and are willing to be flexible and travel
  • Confidently understand and communicate complex issues in German and English

What we offer

  • Individual professional development opportunities
  • Open feedback culture
  • Modern structures (e.g., easy travel booking, excellent back-office support, comprehensive knowledge center)
  • Regular team events and Office Fridays
