As part of a dynamic team with a strong technical component, you will apply your optimization skills within several of our activities.

Job Responsibility

  • Specify processes and approaches based on optimization to address business and industry challenges
  • Develop mathematical models
  • Define and implement resolution methods (heuristics and / or based on solvers)
  • Integrate calculation algorithms into IT solutions
  • Develop processing associated to computational functionalities
  • Industrialize and maintain operational solutions for decision support

Requirements

  • Holder of an engineering degree with a specialization in optimization or operations research
  • 3 years of experience (professional or doctoral thesis)
  • Particular taste for and aptitude in the computer implementation of algorithms
  • Master languages among Java, C ++ and Python
  • Comfortable with the concepts and technologies used to model a mathematical optimization problem
  • Good knowledge of optimization algorithms
  • Comfortable using and configuring optimization solvers
  • Taste for and particular skills in the computer implementation of algorithms
  • Motivated by project management and the responsibility of leading a team, managing a budget and meeting deadlines
  • Rigorous, driven by a strong team spirit and customer-focused
  • At least a B2 level in French

Nice to have

Knowledge in the fields of energy, in particular electrical systems, transport, and logistics is highly valued

  • Create bespoke questionnaires across a multitude of use cases (e.g., U&A, tracking, concept testing, creative testing, MaxDiff, Conjoint)
  • Interpret market research results and provide clients with hands-on recommendations for action
  • Work closely with the Research Operations team on the set-up of questionnaires and fieldwork on the Appinio platform
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team on the implementation of initial projects for new customers
  • Manage projects and contribute to the strategic development of our Research Consulting Team and Appinio products
  • Integrate AI into all steps of the research process, collaborating with the product team to enhance our integrated AI tools
