This role offers significant career development opportunities, with the prospect of accelerated progression based on performance and achievement of agreed KPIs. Over time, there is potential to grow and lead a Riyadh-based team. The initial role scope will be focused and narrower during the first 3-6 months, to allow for effective onboarding and integration into our EMEA Macro Consulting and wider consulting practice. Following this period, there will be opportunities to expand responsibilities based on performance and business needs.

Job Responsibility:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
  • Manage key accounts and identify opportunities for expanded engagement
  • Take initiative in business development activities, working collaboratively with the business development sales team
  • Participate in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across the region
  • Lead proposal management, production, and coordination, with support and technical input from the senior team and technical team members
  • Deliver compelling client pitches and presentations, with support from the senior team and technical team members
  • Contribute to the development of winning proposals that align with client needs and organizational capabilities
  • Travel within the GCC region as required (most clients are KSA-based)
  • Maintain flexibility to support client needs across different locations

Requirements:

  • Arabic language proficiency (written and verbal) - essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences
  • Ability to produce suitable project deliverables – in terms of content, format and technical detail - for the GCC government client audience
  • Proven project management experience, including collaboration with client project management offices (PMOs)
  • Ability to manage more than one project at a time
  • Demonstrated client engagement capabilities, including with senior client counterparts
  • Previous Middle East public sector consulting experience covering project management, production, client engagement, proposal management, and business development
  • Specific experience in KSA is highly valued
  • Ability to work effectively in teams and across different offices
  • Strong capability to deliver high-quality work to tight client deadlines
  • Excellent entrepreneurial mindset and initiative-taking approach
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Task-orientated

Nice to have:

  • Line management experience
  • Academic background or professional experience in economics
  • Experience using project management software
  • Understanding of GCC economic and policy landscapes, especially KSA
What we offer:
  • Accelerated career progression based on performance and achievement of KPIs
  • Opportunity to work across OE consulting teams
  • Potential to build and lead a Riyadh-based consulting team
  • Expanding scope of responsibilities after successful completion of initial onboarding period
  • Exposure to high-profile government advisory projects across the GCC region
