Job Description

The Senior Consultant Cybersecurity at BCG Platinion is responsible for leading and executing cybersecurity projects for national and international clients. The role focuses on developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies, conducting risk assessments, and designing security architectures. As an integral part of the Boston Consulting Group, we position cybersecurity as a central component of our corporate strategy at BCG Platinion, creating innovative and practical solutions that deliver responses to the challenges of digital transformation for our clients.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and execute cybersecurity projects for national and international clients
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies
  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Design security architectures
  • Create projects with pioneering impact by understanding and utilizing state-of-the-art cybersecurity approaches
  • Shape the digitalization initiatives of globally leading companies
  • Conduct cybersecurity assessments, analyze risks, and develop a roadmap to secure the client's environment
  • Develop cybersecurity strategies, policies, processes, and procedures
  • Design and develop cutting-edge cybersecurity architectures

Requirements

  • Successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics or a related field
  • At least four years of relevant experience in the cybersecurity field, ideally in an IT consulting role
  • Experience in leading smaller project teams
  • Familiarity with various cybersecurity frameworks (ISO/IEC 27000 Standards, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT, etc.)
  • Practical experience and knowledge in most of the following areas: development of cybersecurity policies or strategies, conducting security assessments, designing security architectures, cyber-supply-chain risk management/third-party risk management, identity and access management, continuous monitoring, vulnerability assessment and management
  • Ability to develop complex business cases
  • Thrive in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts
  • Flexible and willing to travel
  • Confidently understand and communicate complex matters in both German and English
