Work across GE eTerra, Aspentech (OSI Monarch) and PowerOn Advantage, combining architecture, integration, optimisation and advisory responsibilities. PSC is expanding its SCADA and Energy Management capability in response to a strong pipeline of upcoming transmission and system critical projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Job Responsibility
Act as a senior technical authority across complex SCADA, EMS and ADMS engagements, advising clients on architecture, design, optimisation and operational outcomes across transmission and large‑scale networks
Lead or contribute to the implementation, integration and enhancement of control systems, including SCADA, EMS and ADMS platforms, with a focus on reliability, performance and operational excellence
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to consultants and engineers, sharing best practices and supporting professional development across project teams
Work closely with industry leading vendors and client stakeholders to shape next generation control system solutions and ensure PSC remains at the forefront of operational technology delivery
Requirements
Proven hands-on experience in SCADA, EMS and/or ADMS environments, ideally within transmission networks, system operators or large utilities
Experience with GE eTerra and/or Aspentech OSI / PowerOn platforms is highly regarded
Strong background in control system installation, configuration and integration
Exposure to EMS / ADMS / SCADA platforms
Exposure to Modelling tools and display building
Exposure to CIM standards and data integration frameworks
Exposure to Oracle or SQL‑based RDBMS environments
Exposure to Modern programming or scripting languages
Experience with vendors such as GE, Aspentech (OSI) and PowerOn
Familiarity across Schneider, Siemens, ABB or Hitachi Energy considered advantageous
Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships, contribute to project planning and scheduling, and support successful delivery outcomes while mentoring others
Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
Nice to have
