Job Description

A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its highly regarded Construction & Engineering team in London. This role focuses primarily on non-contentious construction work, advising a high-quality client base on major development and infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm advising on complex, high-value construction and infrastructure projects, with clear progression opportunities and a collaborative working environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Advise a high-quality client base on major development and infrastructure projects
  • Work on development and infrastructure projects, real estate and corporate transactions, property finance, and process plant contracts
  • Advise on and negotiate key construction documentation including JCT and NEC contracts, development agreements, and associated project documents
  • Deliver commercially focused advice across the full project lifecycle from procurement through to completion
  • Mentor junior lawyers
  • Contribute to business development initiatives

Requirements

  • 6+ PQE
  • Strong experience in non-contentious construction law
  • Excellent technical drafting skills
  • Commercial, solution-driven approach
