Job Description

Permanent role integral to the success of the Construction Services (Temporary Works) Team. Join a multidisciplinary team delivering practical yet creative engineering solutions across Australia, working with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure solutions integrate with the wider project.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead, manage projects, delegate workload, and engage directly with key clients
  • Mentor others and drive innovative approaches in temporary works design
  • Assess construction methodologies and detail the engineering works required for successful delivery
  • Provide temporary works and construction engineering services with a focus on safe, innovative and practical solutions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 6+ years of demonstrated senior-level design experience in temporary works, certifications and detailed design
  • Ability to critically assess and review designs by others
  • Knowledge of construction methodology and its impact on design outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, “outside the box” mindset
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior engineers
  • CPEng qualified (or working towards accreditation)
