Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Construction Project Manager to manage all facets of a large-scale data center campus build and serve as the Rowan client facing representative and key point of connection for the Rowan Engineering & Construction Teams. The successful candidate will have the experience, knowledge and leadership skills to manage the construction teams and activities at a hyperscale data center campus to a safe and successful delivery, with quality, on time and on budget. The successful candidate will also have a deep understanding of all facets of the building process, from the initial planning and foundational work through to project completion and turnover.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for actively monitoring the safety of all site infrastructure, substation and core/shell construction
General project management in all day-to-day construction activities and finances related to the project
Monthly invoicing and budgeting as well as the ability to support company finance team in monthly, quarterly and yearly cash flow reporting and projecting
Ability to plan and lead OAC meetings
Work closely with Rowan pre-con, project executive, PM’s, safety and quality assurance team members
Develop trusting relationships with clients, JHA’s, GC’s, sub-contractors to aid in the successful delivery of the project
Conduct weekly/daily delay surveys to maintain CPM schedule and work with PMs to update schedule in real-time
Work with Rowan team members as we approach substantial completion to assemble all close out documents, O&M manuals and warranty/preventive maintenance agreements
Requirements:
Relevant college degree or commiserate relevant experience
Relevant Construction PM experience for a decently sized general contractor
Spent time in construction trailers
PMP
OSHA training
Background in Data Center development
Familiarity with large projects in a high volume environment
Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices
Proficient in Procore and other construction management software
Working knowledge of green building practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Strong organizational skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional environment
