We have partnered with an industry-leading Marine construction company that is seeking a Senior Project Manager to provide high-level project leadership, technical guidance, and oversight across major marine construction projects. This role serves as a senior advisor on estimating, bidding, scheduling, procurement, and field execution while ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest quality standards. Ideal for an experienced project leader with a strong marine, civil, or heavy industrial background.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and oversee marine construction projects from bidding through completion
Serve as senior technical advisor on all project management processes
Develop bid proposals and cost estimates for upcoming projects
Provide guidance and oversight to Superintendents and Foremen
Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and services
Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and requirements
Create and manage project schedules to ensure on-time delivery
Negotiate contracts, changes, and project modifications
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Interface with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams to support successful execution
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in marine or heavy industrial work
Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, procurement, and cost control
Experience developing and reviewing bid proposals
Proficiency with project tracking and management software
Understanding of marine construction materials and methods
Strong communication and leadership skills across all organizational levels
Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance
Ability to work in marine environments, including barges, docks, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions
