Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician

• Independently collect construction materials samples from various construction sites
• Perform tests and inspections to assess the properties and integrity of materials, using specialized equipment and following established procedures and standards
• Document findings and communicate results to project managers and other stakeholders
• Travel to various job sites around the Springfield area metro and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Associate degree from a technical or four-year school preferred, but not required
• 6+ years' experience in construction observation or inspection
• ICC, ACI Grade I, Nuclear Gauge certifications required OR a bachelors degree in engineering with EIT
• MoDOT certifications preferred
• The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving history
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
