Senior Construction Engineer position to join the team in Turek, Poland, supporting the construction of a 560MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Plant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major energy infrastructure project, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and technical excellence throughout all construction phases.
Job Responsibility:
Support and oversee construction activities for the CCGT project from planning through to completion, ensuring alignment with design and project objectives
Provide engineering expertise on-site, ensuring all works are executed according to technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Coordinate with construction teams, contractors, and subcontractors to maintain efficient, safe, and high-quality project execution
Review and monitor construction schedules, progress, and resource allocation to support timely achievement of key project milestones
Identify and resolve technical and engineering issues that may arise during construction, implementing effective and practical solutions
Collaborate closely with the design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure seamless communication and technical accuracy
Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations, promoting a strong safety culture on-site
Participate in progress meetings and prepare reports on construction performance, technical challenges, and risk mitigation actions
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in construction engineering for large-scale industrial or power plant projects, preferably within the CCGT sector
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
Strong understanding of gas turbine systems, steam generation, and combined cycle processes
Hands-on experience in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing technical interfaces between engineering and construction
Comprehensive knowledge of construction methodologies, scheduling, and quality control for large industrial projects
Proven understanding of HSE standards and procedures, with experience implementing best practices on-site
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork
