Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced conference producer to join our fast-growing event series in Life Sciences. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing the production of industry leading events across the US, ensuring that they drive engagement and deliver exceptional value to our attendees.

Job Responsibility:

  • Undertake research and analysis to determine the commercial viability of conferences within the portfolio, scaling existing products and launching new events
  • Collaborate with industry experts and thought leaders to develop engaging agendas
  • Develop ideas for creative digital content to support commercial campaign
  • Identify and recruit high-profile speakers and moderators
  • Work with the marketing lead to identify appropriate marketing channels and to ensure that the correct market segments are reached
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotion strategies
  • Identify potential sponsors and work with the Commercial Partnerships Manager to agree on the sales plan for your event campaign
  • Work with speakers, consultants, journalists, and other information providers to source and repurpose materials for content marketing
  • Build the identity and create buzz around each event with the marketer in the build-up to and during a conference through social media including LinkedIn
  • Develop and manage budgets for each conference, ensuring financial goals are met
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Manage onsite delivery of the event being sure to gain feedback from all those attending
  • Actively participate in designing and delivering training for the production team and assume a mentor role for junior producers

Requirements:

  • Graduated/graduating with a 2:1 or above
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in B2B Events
  • Analytical, commercially minded and dynamic
  • Ability to articulate and present complex information in an engaging and simple way
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal
  • English Fluency
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to write crisp engaging copy for a technical/scientific audiences
  • Highly organised, methodical, and process-driven
