Job Responsibility:
Working in a discreet environment handling sensitive information daily
Working as an IT Systems Engineer with a focus on Cyberspace-IT project management and coordination
Overseeing in applied research and experimentation projects
Develop technical documentation, system architecture, and system design documentation
Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflicts
Responsible for engineering projects that develop and implement next-generation IT tools, systems, and capabilities to aid DOD cyberspace operations
Coordinate with parties to ensure the mission effect is achieved and utilize technical expertise throughout to ensure a sound and secure delivery
Evaluate, develop, and deliver technical input to the systems engineering process
Performs tasks in accordance with applicable DOD guidance and industry standards
Performs computer network exploitation development
Evaluates the quality of software systems and solutions
Oversees the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility
Communicate with other program personnel, Government overseers, and senior executives
Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans
Analyze complex information and independently take appropriate actions to resolve problems
Provide engineering guidance to technical staff and establish effective working relationships with other Government agencies and mission partners
Deliver briefings on complex topics to groups, which may include high-level decision makers and work on complex research projects as a senior contributor and as part of an integrated research team
Designs and deliver solutions
Requirements:
Possess an Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Counterintelligence polygraph
Minimum 10 (ten) years of experience as a System Engineer/Architecture
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in System Engineering or related discipline
Exposure to Cloud/AWS
Knowledge of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
Active CISSP, CASP+CE, CSSLP certification (minimum DoD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification)
Able to build systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
