On behalf of one of our partners, a renowned financial institution located in Kirchberg, we are seeking a highly analytical (Senior) Compliance Officer. You will join a multicultural and high-performing environment where your expertise in AML and Sanctions will be instrumental in managing the risk profile of large-scale mandates and global operations.

Job Responsibility

  • Assess money laundering, terrorism financing, and sanction risks for investment operations both pre- and post-transaction
  • Contribute expert opinions to approval documentation and provide strategic guidance and oversight to the first line of defense
  • Maintain and enhance AML and sanction policies, ensuring they evolve alongside institutional needs and international regulations
  • Perform annual compliance risk assessments and deliver comprehensive reports to internal committees and governing bodies
  • Design and deliver specialized training programs to foster a robust compliance culture across the organization

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, or Political Science
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS or ICA are considered a strong asset
  • 5 to 10 years of solid experience in regulatory compliance, financial crime risk assessment, or corporate investigations, ideally within an international organization or regulatory body
  • Deep knowledge of international sanction regimes and AML/CTF frameworks
  • Solution-oriented team player with a proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments
  • Excellent synthesis skills and discretion
  • Excellent command of English
  • Proficiency in other EU languages is a distinct advantage
