Job Responsibility:
Deliver end‑to‑end compliance operations, including triage, prioritisation, turnaround and quality control of outputs
Provide regulatory interpretation and pragmatic compliance advice across consumer credit (NCCPA) and broader financial services obligations
Lead the Compliance Plan and risk‑based monitoring/assurance program, including thematic reviews, control testing, findings and remediation verification
Manage issues, incidents and breaches governance: assessments, documentation, root cause analysis, remediation tracking and regulatory reporting with Legal
Oversee licensing compliance (AFSL, ACL, AER, AEMO), regulatory change delivery and maintenance of audit‑ready compliance artefacts
Embed compliance‑by‑design across Product, Tech and Operations, and provide compliance input and sign‑off on products, distribution and marketing (including DDO)
Uplift compliance systems, processes and templates (including through AI), produce clear MI and dashboards for leadership, and support external regulatory/industry engagement
Requirements:
7+ years compliance experience in regulated financial services/credit/fintech
Demonstrated capability translating complex regulation into operational controls and evidence
Hands-on monitoring/assurance and strong documentation discipline
Strong working knowledge across NCCPA, relevant Corporations, ASIC ACL obligations, AML/CTF, Privacy, and industry Codes and standards
Confident stakeholder influence and the ability to operate autonomously without direct reports
