Job Description:

Senior Complex Litigation Paralegal position supporting partners and associates in complex litigation matters at a leading commercial litigation law firm in downtown Denver. The role requires managing complex cases from start to finish with solid trial experience and strong eDiscovery skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support partners and associates in complex litigation matters
  • Manage complex case load from start to finish
  • Manage all phases of complex litigation including going to trial
  • Calendar and docket management for litigation cases
  • Exhibit and document management
  • Trial preparation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal with focus on litigation
  • 7 plus years litigation paralegal experience
  • Solid trial experience
  • Strong eDiscovery skills
  • Ability to manage complex case load from start to finish
  • Strong technology aptitude with experience in database products (Summation, Concordance, Eclipse, Relativity)
  • Experience cite checking using the Bluebook preferred
  • 4 year degree preferred
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
  • 5 plus years experience managing all phases of complex litigation including going to trial
  • Strong communication & excellent written skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and switch between tasks easily
  • Competence with Microsoft Office suite
  • Prior experience working in Appellate court systems required
  • Proficiency in discovery processes and civil litigation procedures
  • Strong knowledge of trial preparation including exhibit and document management
  • Hands-on experience with case management software and tools
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Familiarity with calendar and docket management for litigation cases
  • Ability to work collaboratively within legal team and independently
