The Facilities Electrical Engineer role is central to maintaining our commitment to excellence and sustainability.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of all facility electrical systems
  • Support the planning and execution of electrical upgrades and projects
  • Work within and be responsible for the electrical infrastructure of multiple semiconductor environments that include: office areas, technical labs, ISO7 cleanrooms, and manufacturing areas
  • Identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime and increase reliability
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize energy use and sustainability
  • Conduct inspections and recommend improvements for compliance and safety
  • Coordinate with external partners to implement best practices
  • Document processes and provide clear communication about changes and results

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
  • Five or more years of experience
  • Experience working in facilities management or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and relevant tools
  • Strong technical knowledge in low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems, grounding systems, transformation of primary and secondary utility supplied voltages, and OSHA/NFPA requirements for electrical system/gear
  • Ability to plan development expenses over a quarter-to-quarter period and track expenses
  • Technical proficiency in electrical systems and controls
  • Excellent customer service skills, with an advanced understanding of customer relationship building
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
