Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, drive, and implement compensation strategies
Establish compensation programs and solutions
Oversee compensation analytics to support a large, complex business within a division, ensuring alignment with key organizational goals
Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in depth evaluation of multiple factors
Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet project deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for less experienced individuals
Requirements:
4+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Nice to have:
Experience in Compensation, preferably in a Banking Industry
Strategic thinking and good business judgment
Knowledge and understanding of compensation strategies for highly complex business groups
Highly effective consultative mindset with credibility through demonstrating strong business and data driven acumen, passion for customer service and operational excellence
Demonstrated skills in influencing and navigating across a complex, highly matrixed global organization with a collaborative mindset
Experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
Strong communication skills. This includes the ability to simplify complex concepts
Proactive control and risk management, addressing gaps in processes and escalating issues to benefit the business and clients in a dynamic environment
