Job Description

Mileway is looking to recruit a Senior Compensation & Benefits Analyst to become part of our HR team in Amsterdam. You will play a key role in shaping and optimizing Mileway’s compensation and benefits framework across Europe. You will partner closely with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver competitive, fair, and scalable reward solutions that enable Mileway’s growth. This role requires strong analytical capability, deep reward expertise, and the ability to balance operational accuracy with strategic thinking. You will support both local and international reward initiatives, contributing to the professionalization and maturity of our total rewards function.

Job Responsibility

  • Support the design, execution, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits programs across all Mileway countries
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in salary structures, bonus schemes, benefits offerings, and reward-related policies
  • Support the implementation, communication, and delivery of cyclical reward processes, including annual compensation reviews and benefit renewals
  • Conduct job evaluations, model salary increases, participate in salary and benefit surveys, and analyze internal and external data to inform compensation decisions
  • Manage and maintain benefits programs, benefit inventories, and budget oversight, collaborating with brokers, benefit providers, and HR teams to ensure smooth operations and clear communication
  • Deliver high quality reward analysis including external market benchmarking, internal parity checks, and compensation modelling
  • Prepare clear, data‑driven insights for HR and business leaders to support decision-making
  • Maintain reward frameworks, documentation, and guidelines to ensure alignment across our 10 European countries
  • Act as a point of expertise for European reward policies and practices, supporting HRBPs and managers with guidance on compensation and benefit questions, including moderately complex cases
  • Monitor local market practices and relevant compensation and benefits legislation, proposing adjustments to ensure ongoing competitiveness and compliance
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide analysis, insights, and support on reward‑related matters
  • Work closely with external vendors, survey providers, brokers, and consultants to support reward processes, survey participation, and benefit optimalization
  • Identify and recommend improvements in reward processes, data quality, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • Continuously improve reporting and analytics capabilities to provide meaningful insights across countries
  • Collaborate with HR Systems/HR Ops to enhance reward data integrity, automation, and system functionality
  • Support HR projects, including process improvements, policy implementation, and cross‑functional reward initiatives

Requirements

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 4–6+ years of experience in Reward, Compensation & Benefits, HR analytics, or similar analytical HR roles
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • proficient in Excel and HRIS/reporting systems (preferably SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Experience working in international or multi-country environments is strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of compensation design, benchmarking, pay structures, and benefits fundamentals
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
  • High attention to detail and a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity
  • A flexible, collaborative mindset and a positive, solution-oriented attitude
