Job Description:

Join TUI Airline as our Senior Community Sales Specialist and drive growth across diaspora and culturally rooted travel segments by building strong relationships with community-based travel agencies and cultural associations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Identify, prioritise and develop community-based distribution opportunities, mapping key diaspora markets and cultural travel corridors relevant to TUI's network
  • Build and nurture relationships with cultural associations, travel intermediaries and community organisers, attending cultural events and representing TUI at diaspora forums
  • Train and support small, often informal travel agencies with TUI fare structures, booking flows and ancillary offerings, providing clear, simple, high-touch service
  • Collaborate with central sales and marketing teams to tailor tactical campaigns to diaspora-specific travel seasons, managing grassroots initiatives including print flyers and word-of-mouth promotion strategies
  • Act as a cultural ambassador for TUI Airline within diaspora sales networks, ensuring consistent brand messaging while adapting communication to local preferences
  • Track and report on sales trends, agency performance and travel peaks across community markets, delivering regular insights to improve commercial decision-making

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the travel habits of diaspora/VFR travellers, ideally gained through personal or professional proximity to these communities
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, especially in low-tech, relationship-focused environments, with experience in grassroots sales methods
  • Capability to onboard and support small or informal travel agents through direct interaction, with basic technical understanding of airline fare structures and booking flows
  • Experience executing culturally tailored campaigns using local language, ethnic media, and community influencers
  • Ability to track local sales trends and performance reports, with awareness of revenue drivers and distribution economics
  • Communication skills with fluency in English
  • additional language(s) relevant to VFR communities (e.g. Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, Punjabi, Polish) are a major advantage
