Lead Fundraising That Brings Communities Together. At Prospect Hospice, we’re looking for a Senior Community & Events Manager to lead and grow our community and events programme. From our flagship events to grassroots community activity, you’ll shape experiences that inspire people across Swindon, Marlborough and north-east Wiltshire to support our mission, ensuring more people receive the care, comfort and dignity they deserve.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee our community-based fundraising and events portfolio, driving vital income through inspiring, supporter-led activity
  • Lead a talented fundraising team, set the direction for all community fundraising activities and events
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality flagship experiences, taking full ownership of budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting to ensure strong return on investment
  • Expand community fundraising across groups, schools, workplaces and associations, strengthening local connections and inspiring wider participation in support of our work
  • Act as a senior ambassador, both internally and externally
  • Deputise for the Head of Relationship Fundraising and contribute to wider strategic planning

Requirements:

  • Significant experience delivering successful community and/or events fundraising programmes
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgets, forecasting and analysis
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Creativity, resilience and a passion for supporter experience
  • A full, valid driving licence
