Identify, develop and deliver compelling content that showcases the work and impact of Austin Health across media, digital and internal channels.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and implement integrated communication strategies
Identify, research and develop engaging stories across clinical, research and operational areas
Actively pursue media coverage for Austin Health and develop media pitches and releases to showcase organisation achievements and improve brand reputation and trust
Write high-quality content for media, digital platforms, social media, publications and internal channels
Support proactive and reactive media activities, including preparing spokespeople and crafting approved responses
Partner with stakeholders across the organisation, providing trusted communications advice
Manage internal communications channels and seek opportunities to enhance employee engagement
Support coordination of ministerial visits, major announcements and organisational events
Requirements:
Experience delivering communications strategies and working directly with senior leaders
Experience identifying positive stories and pitching to media
Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills across multiple formats
Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
A degree in communications (or related discipline) and at least five years’ experience in a similar role
