Job Description:

Senior Commercial Real Estate Underwriting Coordinator role at Wells Fargo supporting the Commercial Real Estate Underwriting functional area in servicing, underwriting, and asset management. The position involves working with different departments to service clients, performing administrative and operational tasks, evaluating financial performance, analyzing cash flows, conducting market research, and quality checking junior team members' work.

Job Responsibility:

Support Commercial Real Estate Underwriting functional area in servicing, underwriting, and asset management
Work with experienced roles to understand client needs and coordinate efforts to service clients
Perform moderately complex administrative, transactional, operational, and customer support tasks
Review credit reports from borrowers and ensure collected data meets regulatory requirements
Evaluate financial performance of borrower/guarantor and determine appropriate risk rating
Analyze historical cash flows and develop proforma based on historical performance
Evaluate existing leases within the property to determine possible impact on cash flows
Perform market research of real estate using third party applications
Review third party documents such as appraisal, site inspection report, property condition assessment
Document and synthesize findings based on reviews
Quality check of work performed by junior team members
Provide training to team members and educate them on different scenarios
Effectively communicate with Underwriters and Asset Managers

Requirements:

4+ years of Commercial Real Estate Underwriting experience or equivalent
Experience in Commercial Real Estate Underwriting or equivalent
4 to 6 years of overall experience in commercial real estate industry
Ability to read, comprehend and synthesize data regarding property performance/market related information from multiple sources
Knowledge of mortgages, real estate market, and financial lending
Sound understanding of commercial credit analysis techniques including cash flow analysis, financial concepts and valuation of collateral
Good knowledge with excel skills
Excellent communication skills with good comprehension and business writing skills
Analytical bent of mind and ability to draw pattern from discrete set of data
Master's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics
Any professional Finance/Accounting/Economics certification would be a plus
