We are now seeking an intelligent, proactive and experienced salesperson to join our AI Drug Discovery & Development Summit team. The successful candidate will be driven and focused on delivering revenue, while working with a highly cohesive experienced team toward a common goal in scaling the event. Intelligence and natural curiosity are valuable traits, as is adaptability in a highly technical market that is moving at an incredible pace. The AI Drug Discovery & Development (AIDDD) Summit is a flagship event in Kisaco Research’s life sciences portfolio, representing one of the fastest-growing communities in pharma innovation. Since its launch in 2022, AIDDD has evolved from a niche meeting on AI in early discovery into a global summit covering the entire R&D value chain, from biology and chemistry through to process development and clinical trials. The 2025 Boston edition hosts over 500 attendees and 100+ speakers, making it the largest and most influential AIDDD to date. This continued growth reflects the sector’s accelerating adoption of AI and the summit’s unique position as a trusted, neutral forum uniting scientists, technologists, and R&D leaders across the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
Job Responsibility:
Responsibility for sponsorship revenue of £750k+ on our AIDDD Summit and beyond
Develop deep working relationships with both large corporates and new start-ups in the space
Grow revenue from existing accounts, increasing average order values and frequency of spend across the event and marketing/digital solutions
Develop new business from scratch in new and emerging categories
Generate sales revenue consistently and deliver against monthly, quarterly, annual and event targets
Articulate key value proposition of our events/platforms and illustrate how our platform can deliver maximum impact for clients
Working with sponsors across a number of objectives including re-brands, product launches, ecosystem engagement, investment sourcing, lead generation and thought leadership
Conduct formal process with existing sponsors pre and post event to secure re-books/follow on revenue
Feedback sponsor intel to influence event strategy and commercial direction
Develop a deep understanding of your marketplace, to be able to read and comment on trends, cycles, buying patterns, etc and be a resource for both your clients and colleagues
Contribute to topic generation and validation from a commercial perspective and support the wider team
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years selling high-value sponsorship, exhibition or advertising packages in the events world
Proven record of portfolio selling and growth, including increasing existing client spend and new business generation
Proven record of exceeding revenue targets
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
A Team player
A good understanding of how to use AI in day to day tasks to drive efficiency and revenue, and a willingness to learn and improve
Highly organised with strong time and workload managements skills along with a strong attention to detail
Quick learner with ability to quickly grasp new, sometimes technical markets
English Fluency
UK based essential with the ability to travel our London office
