Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a detail oriented and proactive Loan Servicing and Operations Specialist to support our Commercial Banking team with bilateral loan transactions. This role is responsible for the end-to-end servicing of commercial loans, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of operational processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with LoanIQ and a strong understanding of commercial lending operations.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the end-to-end servicing of bilateral commercial loans, including payments, rate resets, clearing exceptions, reconciliations, and complex research requests
Maintain and update loan records in LoanIQ, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
Process loan transactions such as drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, and fee accruals
Reconcile loan balances and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and external counterparties
Collaborate with credit, legal, and relationship management teams to ensure accurate documentation and servicing
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce risk

Requirements:

4+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
3 years of hands-on experience using LoanIQ
Strong understanding of bilateral loan structures and servicing requirements
Proficiency in LoanIQ, workflow tools, Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams
Familiarity with bilateral commercial loans
Experience with workflow tools or automation platforms
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to commercial lending (e.g., SOX, OCC guidelines)
