Job Responsibility
Playing a pivotal role in advising on diverse, critical business topics, spanning B2B and B2C transactional and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) engagements, marketing and disputes
Leading the drafting and negotiation of critical commercial agreements with partners, key customers, and essential providers
Protecting the company by strategically managing key disputes and litigation
Providing expert counsel on a broad spectrum of commercial law, including marketing, advertising, sales, consumer protection, IP licensing, and complex dispute resolution
Acting as a key legal partner in the development of new go-to-market strategies, products, and services
Optimizing legal operations by enhancing our legal processes: improving contract templates, streamlining documentation flows, and enhancing reporting and archiving systems
Working seamlessly across the legal team and with crucial stakeholders in Sales, Finance, Marketing, Operations and Product
Contributing directly to the development of internal tools, guidelines, and policies
Requirements
At least 6-8 years of robust commercial legal experience, gained either in-house at a technology-driven company or within a top-tier law firm, with a proven track record across a diverse range of commercial matters
Exemplary written and verbal communication, drafting, and presentation skills in English
Demonstrable experience managing international litigation and complex commercial disputes, capable of assessing risk and driving resolution
A blend of pragmatism and strategic thinking, capable of navigating ambiguity and providing clear, actionable legal advice in evolving scenarios
Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient, consistently taking initiative and effectively prioritizing multiple, high-impact matters in a dynamic environment
Excellent at building and nurturing strong, trusting relationships across all levels of an organization
Detail-oriented with a sharp analytical mind
Flexible, personable, and eager to embrace change
Strong aptitude and eagerness for learning new technologies including blockchain technology and AI
