Requirements

Chartered Insurance Institute Qualification (ACII / Dip CII / Cert CII)
Proficiency in Acturis
Substantial experience as a commercial broker
Strong understanding of customer service, negotiation, and broking within the insurance industry
Experience with commercial or larger commercial clients
Commercial client exposure in various sectors
Knowledge of cross class risks such as Property, Casualty, Motor, Construction, Engineering, etc

Job Responsibility

Build and maintain strong client relationships
Prepare accurate client documents and seek alternative quotations
Handle mid-term adjustments and client queries
Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely data entry
Liaise with insurers and process policies
Manage account queries and credit control matters
Adhere to legal and regulatory policies

Requirements

Track record of broking commercial insurance risks from SME to large size risks
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise work efficiently to Service Level Agreements whilst ensuring high attention to detail
Broad Experience of broking property, motor, BI, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc essential
Confident handling new and existing business, renewals, MTAs, market submission etc
Cert CII/ACII (or is prepared to work towards this qualification)
Proficient in Microsoft products (namely Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Proficient in Acturis
Strong communication (verbal and written) and relationship-building skills
Customer care

Job Responsibility

Work closely with company director, handling key commercial insurance accounts
Deal with new and existing business quotations, renewals, MTA’s, policy issue, market submissions, etc
Accompany director on client visits to enable you to build client rapport
Provide a professional and cost-effective service to all clients
Ensure insurer relationships are nurtured
Act as technical reference point for less experienced broking staff

Requirements

Minimum 5 years commercial insurance broking experience
Proficient in use of Acturis
Sound understanding of most classes of commercial insurance including commercial property, motor, EL, PL, D&O, PI, business interruption, etc.
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to prioritise workload, whilst working as part of a team or independently
Progression towards CII exams preferred

Job Responsibility

Working as main contact for key clients, acting as technical point of reference for their commercial insurance requirements
Support the management of the client relationship, with a focus on growth and retention
Support the alignment of client strategies and needs to the company’s capabilities and resources
Liaise between key stakeholders within the business, insurers and clients, on an ongoing basis to ensure high service delivery
Serve as a key contact throughout the lifecycle of the relationship managing ad hoc queries and requests and managing client expectations
Implement action plans, monitor progress, assure service meets or exceeds
Liaise with relevant marketing resource in relation to the production of comprehensive reports for existing and potential new clients
Conduct research utilising all tools on various markets or industries as designated to find resources on new growth areas and trends for expansion for internal use to identify growth opportunities
Conduct and refine data analysis to support proposal creation and client-facing presentations
Address escalated issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner, help manage expectations, mitigate relationship risks and apply judgement as to when to escalate major issues to senior level colleagues working within the regulatory guidelines at all times
