Job Description

We are establishing a brand-new Estimating Department and are seeking a Senior Commercial Construction Estimator to lead this division. This is not just a "number-crunching" role; we are looking for a seasoned "All-Star" who can hit the ground running. You will be a strategic partner to our leadership, helping to build, scale, and refine our estimating processes from the ground up. Job Responsibility

  • Department Leadership: Act as the foundational member of the new estimating division
  • provide strategic insights on scaling the team and implementing best-in-class tools
  • Comprehensive Estimating: Receive plans via internal platforms, perform detailed takeoffs, and prepare accurate estimates for large-ticket commercial builds
  • Project Focus: Manage a diverse portfolio including New Construction, Finish Outs, and Tenant Improvements (TI) across retail, hospitality, government, and medical sectors
  • Specialty Coordination: Work on high-end projects for high-net-worth individuals requiring complex multi-trade specialty contractor coordination (Architectural, MEP, etc.)
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the Director of Business Development and Director of Operations to support sales introductions and project handoffs
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement systems/tools to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

  • 6+ years of commercial construction estimating experience is ideal
  • Deep background in architectural engineering, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), or experience at a large-scale construction firm
  • Must be able to work independently with zero "babysitting" or coaching required
  • Expertise in Procore and Plan Swift
  • Experience with Bluebeam is highly preferred
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 / Teams
  • A strong sense of urgency, a positive/energetic attitude, and a "teamwork first" mentality
  • Advanced level of English (native like)
