Job Description:

Wells Fargo Commercial Banking Middle Market Group is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager for our Sponsors group. Middle Market Banking provides comprehensive financial services to commercial customers primarily with annual sales from $25 million to $2 billion. The Sponsors group aligns dedicated coverage and credit teams with private equity sponsors and certain family offices within Commercial Banking.

Job Responsibility:

Support leadership and senior relationship managers in all aspects of the business
Independently develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships
Lead or participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of complex capital markets transactions
Prepare screening memos for capital markets related transactions
Review, understand, and offer the full suite of complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo
Independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues
Drive relationship planning activities
Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
Partner with Commercial Lending Product Management

Requirements:

4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience or equivalent
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of core commercial banking and investment products: deposits, commercial credit, and treasury
Experience with underwriting complex credit and debt structure
Foundational ability to interpret financial statements, summarize findings and structure credit transactions
Experience working with financial modeling
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Demonstrated high level of initiative and accountability
Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal partners
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related business degree
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
