Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Portfolio coordinator to support performance and overall effectiveness of team, provide feedback on processes, review credit information, respond to customer inquiries, and provide leadership and mentorship to the team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support performance and overall effectiveness of team
  • Provide feedback and present ideas for improving processes and tools
  • Review credit information of loans for companies and industries
  • Respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management
  • Perform or guide others on complex tasks or initiatives
  • Independently prioritize work and provide day-to-day leadership
  • Lead or contribute to implementation of new processes and procedures
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to team
  • Financial spreading in MRA tool
  • Analyzing financial statements
  • Identification of trend and provide financial commentaries
  • Prepare projected financial statements
  • Complete Pro forma adjustments
  • Interpret and spread financials of different companies
  • Assessing repayment capacity of highly leveraged Borrowers
  • Handle subjectivity in financial analysis
  • Act as a coach or mentor
  • Facilitate communication to resolve problems
  • Make significant contribution toward achieving team goals
  • Lead efforts to increase productivity

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience or equivalent
  • Chartered Accountant and Bachelor's Degree (Commerce Mandatory)
  • Strong knowledge on accounting and finance, Industry analysis, Internal and external risk factors of the borrower
  • Experience in assessing credit worthiness of the borrowers based on qualitative and quantitative factors
  • Strong knowledge of preparation and analysis of projected and Proforma based financial statements
  • Sound knowledge of ratio analysis, cash flow, and trend analysis
  • Experience of Financial spreading across all the Industries
  • Sound knowledge on Moody's Risk Analytics (MRA)
  • Strong knowledge on GAAP Accounting / International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Ability to read & analyze financial statements
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office application primarily MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to stretch as per business requirement
  • Stakeholders/Client management
  • Able to multi-task to accomplish tasks effectively
  • Quick Learner & Attention to detail
  • Ability to work quickly & accurately while maintaining acceptable standards of workmanship
  • Ability to recognize and escalate to management for any process breaches
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts
  • Ability to succeed in a team environment
