The Commercial Analytics team is the analytical powerhouse and investigative engine for the ZMS Commercial organization. We empower our Sales and Media Operations teams to navigate the market successfully by turning complex campaign data into actionable commercial strategies. We are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to act as our foremost expert on campaign performance and Ad-Tech metrics. You will build the analytical methodologies and frameworks that explain our campaign performance across both Managed and Self-Service operative models, and you will act as the vital bridge ensuring that new product features are included downstream in our reporting in order to translate them into measurable commercial success. You will own the analytical narrative in our core Media Steering meetings, translating these complex insights into direct, daily optimization strategies for our Media Operations team.

Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
5+ years of strong professional experience in Retail Media, Ad-Tech, or Digital Marketing Analytics
Expert in advertising technology and marketplace dynamics
Deep understanding of bidding methods (e.g., first-price vs. second-price auctions), programmatic advertising, and core performance KPIs
Highly skilled in statistical analysis
Proven track record of building complex KPI driver trees and analytical steering models from scratch
Advanced technical data skills including expert-level SQL and deep proficiency in BI visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy)
Experience with AI-tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, Genie Code)
GitHub experience is a strong plus
Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management
Proactive problem-solver and natural mentor

Experience with modern cloud data platforms, specifically Databricks
