The Senior Cloud Services Sales Specialist at NTT DATA will guide clients in adopting cloud-managed services, focusing on building long-term relationships and driving revenue growth. The role requires strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, sales processes, and excellent negotiation skills. A bachelor's degree in a technical or sales field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and cloud services.
Job Responsibility:
Identify, develop, and close managed service and outsourcing deals
Engage with clients at various levels, from decision-makers to technical teams
Collaborate with client managers, pre-sales architects, and delivery teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients
Understand client's business, industry, and unique challenges
Align client needs with solutions to drive transition from traditional models to managed services
Handle everything from creating demand for Cloud Managed Services to addressing client objections, negotiating contractual terms, and ensuring win-win commercial solutions
Manage a pipeline of opportunities, create documented strategies to meet sales targets, and see deals through to closure
Support regional sales governance processes and help profile opportunities
Share best practices and insights to contribute to the continuous improvement of services
Drive the sales process, minimize churn, upselling, cross-selling, and achieve both revenue and margin goals
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure principles, including major platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
Deep understanding of networking within a cloud environment to design effective solutions
Advanced capabilities in positioning our services across Managed Services, Support Services, Consulting Services, and Technical Services
Proficiency in financial metrics and statements to hold strategic client conversations
Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles to ensure DATA security and compliance
Experience in managing the entire sales process, from opportunity identification to deal closure
Excellent problem-solving, business acumen, and negotiation skills
Ability to build and foster relationships with clients, especially at the executive level
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and identify opportunities proactively
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or sales field
Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and cloud services
