Job Description:

Our client supports organizations through their cloud journey and drive innovation through enhanced efficiency. They are a trusted advisor in strategic IT estate optimization, and maximizing returns on investments in cloud, data, and AI. We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Operations Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Azure infrastructures within a highly regulated environment, ensuring security, compliance, and high availability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage and maintain robust Azure cloud environments with a focus on stability and performance
  • Oversee Azure networking and implement advanced security solutions, including Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Configure and manage Entra ID, including the design and enforcement of Conditional Access Policies
  • Implement and monitor Azure Policies to ensure organizational compliance and best practices
  • Design and operate comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks to proactively identify issues
  • Work closely with security and development teams to maintain a secure cloud posture

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in Azure infrastructure operations, specifically within the banking, finance, or similarly regulated sectors
  • Deep understanding of Azure networking components (VNETs, Peering, Firewalls, NSGs)
  • Hands-on expertise with Entra ID and identity governance
  • Practical experience in cloud security hardening and monitoring
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub is an advantage
